Hi Jos:Just thought I would drop you a line about the hike you took us on Sept. 29th from around 5 to 7pm. I really enjoyed it as well as my niece and her new husband. The hike allowed us to see an aspect of Aruba most tourists never see.
I am now back in Los Angeles. We are hoping to return next year to the Caribbean Palm Village with some close friends who also like to hike. If we come we will be definitely get in contact with you.
By the way, you said something about posting the picture your took of us on your web site.
Cheers,
Pete
Dag Jos,
Vanuit een regenachtig Nederland een mooie foto voor je site.
We hebben genoten van de wandeling en hopen in de nabije toekomst wederom met je op pad te mogen gaan.
Vriendelijke groeten,

When you want to see the beautifull nature of Aruba this hiking tour is a must! I saw parts of the National Park I never would have seen when I had been hiking alone. Together with a guide I felt safe and could really enjoy the trip. Next to snorkeling and a sight-seeing tour everyone should take a walk in the park! There are levels for every person. I myself felt sometimes like a mountaingoat (which we really met). A wonderfull experience!

Hi Jos,I've been coming to Aruba for a few years now, and have gone on every tourist tour that is available. They are all nice and you get to see the island with them, but with a large group of people, and your on a tight schedule with everyone else on the tour. Then, if you go by jeep, bus, or horse you're being bounced around with the rough terrain.
The only way to really see the island, learn about the plants, trees, animals, and the true history, is take this hiking tour. Makauka hiking tours is the newest thing on the island and it's easy to see why. Your in a small group usually your own family, walking at your own pace, seeing the island first hand, enjoying the surroundings and the fresh air. The guides are very friendly and informative. They have all types of tours, so no matter what your experience, there is something for everyone.
I've been on 3 different tours and learned and saw something new on each one. Next time I come and visit the island, I will make sure to give them a call and do it again.
